The Center for Teacher Education is located on the second floor of Mossman Hall.

Harold and Mary Ellen Deets Library is located at the heart of the Southwestern campus. Students get individualized attention in a warm atmosphere where a wide variety of technology opportunities abound.

Beech Science Center and Mabee Laboratory Complex opened in January 1998.  This state-of-the-art facility features high-tech labs and classrooms.

Technology access is available throughout the Southwestern Campus. Fiber optic lines connect the entire campus, including all residence hall rooms. Jinx Net provides free internet access for all Southwestern students. Nearly all public areas and classrooms have wireless access to networking.

Outstanding area schools support the Southwestern teacher education program.  Winfield Public Schools feature a number of innovative programs that provide a wide array of experience for prospective teachers.
